Every inch of an Aqualine boat is made from materials selected for their quality and strength – from the grit blasted and primed certified steel of the durable shell, to the beautiful solid wood of the tongue and grove and flooring. For reliable after-sales support, mechanical features such as the engines, pumps and heating systems are all sourced from the UK.
Then the boats are constructed at the famous port of Gdansk under the overseeing eye of our British Managing Director and his team at our own 40,000 sq. ft. factory. This is a part of the world where there is a long tradition of shipbuilding and where time-served apprenticeships continue today. It’s also an area famous for its furniture making skills, established on the local availability of prime hardwoods.
The locally-sourced ash and oak is kiln dried before being used for the inner fittings of the boat, which are constructed in Aqualine’s own workshops. The interior lining is mainly tongue and groove with the floors and doors made of solid hardwood, whilst fine detailing such as hand inlaid marquetry provides pleasing appeal.
Outside, the boat is equally good-looking and with care and attention should stay that way for years to come. The treated steel shell ensures that paintwork above and below the waterline will be durable, and there is a choice of creative designs all in spray-coated polyurethane to give a finish that is both tough and attractive.
